I would be most grateful for some advice about a puzzling problem that has only just arisen in my regular use of Word However, when I went to continue my ongoing and saved translation in the previous Word document, the shortcut key method would not work, and whatever I did, it only took the cursor to the top left of the open page. I notice that when I press on the Alt key, the capital letters and numbers:.
I can only assume that I or one of my cats have inadvertently entered a keyboard combination which has somehow disabled my previous shortcut key function and replaced it with something else.
However, I have been unable to work out what I can do, from trying to research the problem generally online. This thread is locked.
